I have been a silent reader of this forum since 2011 or maybe even before that. I had created a previous account before the current one, around 2012, but unfortunately lost the credentials. Consequently, I created the current account in 2015. In my childhood, I vividly recall spending late nights engrossed in extensive threads discussing military hardware capabilities before bedtime. Ever since I opened my eyes to the world of the internet, PDF has consistently been one of my core social media platforms. The prospect of it being permanently shut down fills me with a sense of loss, as a part of my own existence seems intertwined with it. It's disheartening to witness the potential demise of a platform that has been a constant in my virtual world. I find it perplexing that someone could claim to be a patriotic Pakistani yet advocate for the closure of this site. In my view, any other nation would have embraced and celebrated the wealth of knowledge that this forum offered with pride.

Are people not openly able to say what it's about? TBH it has always surprised me that the abusive nature of a few individuals on such a small platform would trigger a reaction, considering whats out there on all the big social media platforms.

May be someone from the management can reveal more information but the matter is not directly linked to me as I rarely post on this forum anymore and I am not authorised to speak on their behalf. Webmaster will reveal more info if he deemed appropriate

For the time being can the brothers please start to save content (photos, information etc) on your own drives, laptops and PC's please.

@waz - how may gigabytes or terabytes is the website? we can do a fund raiser to zip it up and store it on megaupload or dropbox ?????

That is what I said few days ago. Why the hell we living overseas cannot take over the "archive" of the forum, and open a domain overseas. Surely there is someone with IT background on this forum. Can someone come up with a plan? I am not an IT person myself but I am willing to help along with others to fund this. ANYONE ???

the forum format is most suitable for the strictly military topics, discord cannot replace the level of organization a forum provides

The Forum format is better I agree. I personally joined the Discord version to casually keep in touch with people

My family and extended family are all based in the US...
...if the issue just comes down to things like ppl criticizing the military and what not(as in the whole freedom of speech issue thing). I would be open to discussion(I'm sure there are others also available for this).

If however the issue has to do with something sensitive getting leaked ..and that's why the forum is under investigation...in that case...I wanna steer clear of it.

The data must be in terabytes and PDF can only share that with someone trustworthy as users emails and location logs can be made public.
Migration of data and setting up under new domain shouldn't be too difficult for someone more hands on with the software.
