Posting the opinion of OP along with copy-paste articles serves two purpose:
1. It clearly shows that OP understands what OP is posting.
2. It reduces the possibilities of spam/flooding as if it were a bot /troll farm by showing the human nature of the OP.

The proposal

PDF should discourage posting of copy-paste articles if the OP is not accompanied by at least a header paragraph by the OP showing the opinion of OP. It will also help to create more original contents in PDF rather than PDF is being used as a news article review site. Everyone can read an article anyway if the link is provided. Copy paste can mislead readers if it is modified in due process.

Let us practice being something else than just being lazy copy-paster.

Thank you.

I don't do this myself, because no one else does,
but, its a great idea, you have my vote.

I'm not against the copy/paste article 'cause sometimes you truly want read the full content, however, there are those who abuse it to constantly target a Nation.

You'd sign in and on the far right you'd see the same individual start multiple Topic against (a) China OR (b) Pakistan*.

*The ones against Pakistan are obviously from the same side, but by different Members. Fine. You can't control 'em all - but something needs to be about the multiple copy/paste Topics.

There was or is that clown with some Austin Powers name. He's been 'Banned' multiple times - but for short stints. Funny thing, every time he comes back, he does the exact same thing.

There is also the anti-China moron who's aim in life is to bring any and every negativity towards China, not knowing that people on PDF don't care 'bout that shit.

Multiple copy/paste articles by Members should be 'Banned'.

You will usually find the usernames of the very same usual suspects next to each copy-paster in most instances.

Unfortunately that header is more likely to be used as an obnoxious troll comment of the article. I agree with you 100% that there is a huge problem with people spamming articles in forums outside their own geography. It is not unusual to see almost the entire first page of the Americas forum hit with a barrage of multiple Chinese member new threads. Three years ago it was useless posting an article in the Americas forum because a flood of posts would quickly be done to push it off to page 2 and thus never read/commented on. I just posted in World Affairs instead.

Too bad we can't ban cross-forum posting. People would just change flags and continue.

There are also numerous Chinese anti-US/Turkish/EU/Australia morons flooding similar posts but some completely clueless Pakistani members here don't notice it since maybe they don't browse across all the forums here. Or maybe they have been so used to being crapped on in other web forums that they have become meek and just turn the other cheek like docile sheep when their own country is crapped on...but angrily and blindly jump up and defend China to the bitter end when they notice any negativity

Austin Powers is a Chinese-Canadian. He has multiple accounts here. He is currently using @Tai Hai Chen

The amount of articles we post is just a trickle in response to a constant barrage.
This is an example I took one time from the Americas forum:

An example spam day. He wasn't even the worst offender.
Please take a screenshot in the China forum of something of this scale.
If you can't i suggest you stop playing ignorant.

I had to get the mods to constantly push back on this stuff..and one is pretty pissed off at the constant games the Chinese members play (like a bunch of 8yr olds)...since once one guy was stopped a new guy would take his place.

You want us to voice our opinions , very dangerous you know.

Most of the times, if not always, I do write my comments at the start or at the end of the articles I post.
It should always be the case.
Anyone can copy and paste, but the main purpose of the threads should be discussions on the topics.
