Our country is not that large as India. In Pakistan, if implemented, it won't take many years.EVM was introduced in India in phased manner. It took us around 20 years to fully implement it.
Your country is blessed with honest, impartial people. Sadly, its entirely not the case with PakistanActually if I say ECP require a man like TN Seshan, this man totally change the face of Indian elections .
Is this really true?? Can anyone else confirm it from Pakistan? Even in my native state elections happen in part part to ensure well protection to voters as well as EVMs. Even when we had ballot papers we used to multiple parts elections. That was really fascinating. That's the whole point! Everything in Pakistan happens here very slow except the elections to ENSURE rigging and disparities. Blame Bhutto for conspiring this system in the first place. No place in the world entire country's elections happen in a single day!

Here state machinery during state elections and national machinery falls into hands of election commission to make sure votes are not rigged.
At the least it will take at least 8 years to fully implement it. It is not like we can put machines in place and it will be successful. A country needs to train sufficient manpower, needs backup avm machines and round the clock security once EVM is sealed till results are declared. It takes some time to build the system. Our country is not that large as India. In Pakistan, if implemented, it won't take many years.
There is nothing fullproof, if the presiding officer is gone biased. Or the storage area where the EVM stored is compromised.
But I can tell you it is much more safer, economical and faster than ballot paper.
Pakistan electoral system is very flawed done in extreme hurry and thus you gets complains of malpractices and rigging.
Seriously, are you on drugs? The only issue is that our politicians are flawed, not the electoral system.
