What's new

Pakistan's 1973 Constitution's original manuscript stolen.

It is an important foundation stone of the country and a sacred property of the citizens of the country. You might as well raze the Quaid's mausoleum and Iqbal's if you think like that.

the constitution has nothing to do with the Quaid's Museum, unless you are a wahabi.

. This view was notably promoted by Abraham Lincoln, who considered the Declaration to be the foundation of his political philosophy, and argued that the Declaration is a statement of principles through which the United States Constitution should be interpreted

There is a viewpoint that some Americans have come to see the documents of the Constitution, along with the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rightsas being a cornerstone of a type of civil religion. This is suggested by the prominent display of the Constitution, along with the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights, in massive, bronze-framed, bulletproof, moisture-controlled glass containers vacuum-sealed in a rotunda by day and in multi-ton bomb-proof vaults by night at the National Archives Building
