The psychology of this particular Parsi is that because Shiv Sena (whom he adores and supports) is now clearly a spent force and got nowhere esp after death of their Bal...the whole country is suddenly becoming more radicalised because of that rejection of ethnolingual-based stronking. No sir. Hindutva is ONLY Hindu. The umbrella comes out only when the ballot boxes do. But after this term, no Indian has any illusions on that score anymore.

Even the guy who created Hindutva says it includes all Indian religions, not just Hinduism.

The "Hindu" in "Hindutva" doesn't refer to the religion but to the country. In simple terms, when translated, it's "Indian Nationalism".

The three essentials of Hindutva were said to be the common nation (rashtra), common race and common culture/civilisation (sanskriti).

Where's religion here? Hinduism isn't even a religion.

Coming to the "being assertive" bit. History is witness that whenever and wherever the majority has developed a victimisation complex, the genocide of minorities has followed.

When the power of the ballot is used, it creates a very powerful but peaceful course.

It was ridiculous that Hindus were divided before. Now people are just uncomfortable when Hindus are slowly becoming united. But it's even more ridiculous to equate that to radicalism.

Legal definitions from the 90s mean nothing here in 2018.

It was valid in the 30s, 90s, in 2018 and will be even in 3018. The value of Hinduism have survived more than 5000 years already. Nothing's changed.

Hindutva remains now what it was during the nation burning in the 90s. And what it was conceived at in its seeding and genesis by sociopathic fathers. A fascist supremacist ideology that is wholly Abrahamic in tone and tenor and completely alien to this soil.
