Indian 50 cent army is running wild online in particular on Youtube. The hate levels on Pakistanis are at record level and its worrying because there is no response from Pakistanis to create any form of a soft image.

I don't think so anyone takes them seriously. Internet Hindus hardly like anything other then themselves. They already got a bad reputation on internet. There is already a term for them "Internet Hindus". Most recent incident was the trolling on facebook page of Maria Sharapova.

If you can go on Youtube and type in Pakistan and sort by most viewed. You will understand my point.

People in the world don't know any better, when they search for us they see what Indians want them to see.

I agree with you completely, I have noticed a soft leftist attitude in all pakistani online news papers and bloggers , these naam nihad pakistani leftists badmouth their own country in every regard. I think patriotic paksitanis need to counter these anti-pakistan leftist pakistanis before worrying about propaganda by other enemies of pakistan belonging to other countries.

I have noticed this also, being an apologist isn't going to do anything apart from exacerbate the situation. Banning youtube in Pakistan doesn't help either.

There is a way to do this and this to show soft image of the country. Not be aggressive or too proud, that comes across as obnoxious.

Just a good mix of friendly fun stuff. Only God knows when Pak govt will learn to pay attention to the details such as this.

Bhai Sahib what is your definition of "left" and "leftist" ??? Left is much more pro-Pakistan than the so called Right ... But real left is almost non-existent in Pakistan ... unfortunately

Great thread. Agreed with this propaganda war. One part of it is obviously the fact that they are 7-8 times bigger in population but that doesn't quite cut it. Their propaganda machine is very very organized. One example, every country had 'strategic depth' type policies in Afghanistan including India itself. What's the role of the West or any other country which has historically involved itself in Afghanistan but the propaganda is SOLELY targeted against Pak. Pakistani propaganda machine , it seems , barely even exists.
Take anything, including the Kashmir issue and you'll see that Pak media is either slow or full of self-hating types who're on the pay-roll of shady folk. They never bring these issues up.
