MANAMA:
A Pakistani man was brutally murdered by protestors in Bahrain, while four others were wounded in a separate attack on Sunday, reported the Express 24/7.

Thirty-year-old Abdul Malik was on his way to buy food when he was fatally attacked Sunday evening in Manama. The Pakistani embassy in Bahrain has confirmed his death. Pakistanis living in Manama claim Malik was killed by protestors.

In a separate incident, four Pakistanis sustained stab wounds after confrontation with an armed youth in Naim. The Pakistani community in Bahrain has demanded protection following these incidents of violence.

Disgusting act.

They can forget about any protection, the government of Bahrain isn't going to help them. They should probably leave the country.

Any reason why Pakistanis are being singled-out here?

Probably because of amount of Pakistanis in the Bahrain national guard and police.

Anyways its pretty messed up there with their whole Shia-Sunni tensions and protests. I don't know why any Pakistani would want to continue to live there after all this.

Pakistan regrets death of its national in Bahrain violence

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Monday regretted the loss of life of its national as a result of violence in the Kingdom of Bahrain and requested the government of Bahrain to ensure the safety of its nationals.

“The safety of Pakistani nationals abroad is of paramount importance. We have requested the government of Bahrain to ensure the safety of our nationals,” Foreign Office spokesperson Tehmina Janjua said in a statement.

“Pakistan Embassy in Bahrain has also been instructed to take all appropriate steps in this regard,” she added.

Pakistan is closely following the developments in Bahrain, Janjua stated.

“We enjoy close fraternal relations with Bahrain and earnestly hope that the leadership and the people of Bahrain will be able to overcome the present difficulties”.

I think Bahrini forces are mostly Pakistanis. One protester was saying that the armed forces which fired on them where speaking Urdu. I think that might be the reason

Its pretty stupid. On one hand people condemn blackwater, yet these Pakistanis in the Bahrain forces are doing exactly what Blackwater is doing: mercenary work.

We'll be seeing an influx of people coming back to Pakistan from Bahrain after all this.

i thought only oman has baluchis working for them.
americans are all over middle east.
are the baluch seperatists trained at an american base in middle east?
