Pakistani media urges Indian arms restraint

Last time i've checked India spent 2.6% of its GDP not 1.8% not with its current ego:wave:

1.8% is EU standard

Keep yourself up-to-date. For 2011/12 financial year, India's defence budget is $ 36 billion and GDP $ 2 trillion. So its 1.8% of GDP.

India is buying because all of its indigenous projects failed and your armed forces are left with no choice but to buy those from international market.. so are the news.
If we count all the money india spent in its ambitious tank, missiles, nukes, and TEJA... those are more than what you are spending currently.
Point is India was always spending big time,,,,but unfortunately the out come was not promising enough.

Lo ker lo bat.... evrytime guys like you try to findout ways to attack on indian indigenous initiative on self defence reliance.
1. India is buying because it can afford to buy more now, bcoz we are one of economic giant.
2. India's manufacturing sector is yet to grow.. so indigenous supply to defence is very less than required so we are importing.
3. India ballistic and cruise missile are 60-70% indigenous.
4. Anti tank missile NAG, AKASH SAM is fully operational. Arjun is also operational.
5. In next 1 yaer Tejas will also get FOC. so no need to jump on ur feet because India is quite capable now to get a better aircraft now.. if not LCA then AMCA in coming 5-7 years... because HAL has now all the tech and building blocks of fighter aircraft manufactring.
6. What ever India has till now is 100 times more capable than any thing in Paksitan arsenal...:cheesy:
So pls stop trolling and get into some constructive debate.

There is a quote of Albert Einstein
'' If I fail 100 times, then I have learnt 100 ways to avoid failure also'' Never take failure as setback..its an opportunity to learn and grow. Cheers!!!!
