Pakistani forces allegedly initiated unprovoked firing and shelling at the LoC. One Army jawan was injured in Pakistani firing at the LoC in Naushera who later succumbed to his injuries.

Director-General of Police (DGP) Dilbagh Singh, Jammu and Kashmir, has said Pakistan attempts to push a number of infiltrators during the ceasefire violations. He also said that many ceasefire violations have been taking place in several areas of J&K.

Last week, Pakistan violated the ceasefire at the LoC in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K). The Pakistani Army resorted to unprovoked firing and shelling in the area. The Indian Army gave a befitting reply to the ceasefire violations by Pakistan.

With India, there is always a strong possibility that they would claim after an inquiry taking over six months that the death of the Indian soldier was due to friendly fire just like the helicopter that had initially crashed due to some technical failure but turned out, after six months, to be an own score.

Makes one wonder who they were giving a befitting reply .

there will be no war. today's statement from china regarding attack on pak will be considered as attack on china is enough to deter india.
i think our forces have reacted after so many days and after losing so many soldiers.

Source litman? Thank you.
news on various tv channels quoting DG ISPR. i dont know if it is really authentic. even without china's statement and help i dont think india will dare to go for a war with pakistan. when they can push pak into oblivion without a war why they should do anything stupid. right now they need to support mullah diesel and the rest of the opposition and their job will be done. the economy is already in tatters and little push will make life a common pakistani a misery and then there will be dog eat dog like situation in pakistan. the law and order situation is already pathetic .

Yesterday you indians did the same now it is our turn to take revenge, we are not a bangladesh army who will not respond to indian aggression

LoC has turned very violent since July.
As per figures from Pak and Indian media, 14 Pak soldiers and 7 Indian soldiers died in cross firing and attacks on each other on LoC since July.
