Aircraft carriers, nuclear program, space program etc. are a huge economic drains. I say Pakistan should keep away from this race. Let India ruin it's economy. We don't have to follow suit.

Sir... Are you suggesting Pakistan put its head in the sand for impending danger and concentrate on economy. This argument is so strange when people make it. A country cannot be one dimensional in just concentrating on one and ignore the other. The strategy should always be multi-faceted.

I remember making a post earlier somewhere, where I said that the eye in the sky is so so very important. For Asian powers(China, India and also Pakistan) to have any credible deterrence. They need to be able to see from the sky and seek and destroy in the sky.
In this day and age if you can make your foe or adversary not see thing... is priceless.
