Pakistan should apologise to Bangladesh for atrocities: Imran Khan

These are some video footage of genocide of bangladeshi's by west pakistani army.... I am just wondering what pakistani people think about it.... do you support this sort of action... n if it would happen to you how you would react....

This is just one of the thousands of genocide carried out by pakistani army during 1971 .... in this video ABC is showing how pakistani army killed innocent man, woman, children and then burn them... n described how before killing the woman how they raped them before their husband and children....

This is the video footage which was taken by a engineer professor secretly showing how pakistany army was killing innocent students and professors at Dhaka university on 26th march 1971 as part of operation searchlight to make bangladesh intellectual free and to create fear among all:

This is news on massacre on khulna university where in the city almost 100K innocent people were murdered...

This is the news on rapping of 200K bangladeshi woman and even many of them were minor and how pakistani army kept them as sex slaves:::

Read Simla bose's book on 1971 and her paper "“Losing the Victims: Problems of Using Women as Weapons in Recounting the Bangladesh War”

she went on ground to bangladesh and said the murders were extremely exaggerated....imagine Nazi Germany with 10 million troops killed 6 million jews in 6 years...here our friends are claiming 3 million bengalis were killed by 20000-34000 pak troops ( not including the civil police personnel ) in just 3 weeks , which no sane person can even believe...its humanely impossible to even happen..yes the numbers may be in thousands as hummudurehman commision pointed out but not in millions...i won't accept a sane person to believe this story

Its her quote "The number of West Pakistani armed forces personnel in East Pakistan was about 20,000 at the beginning of the conflict, rising to 34,000 by December. Another 11,000 men — civil police and non-combat personnel — also held arms"

Also read

1) RAW in Bangladesh by ZainulAbidin (an ex-Mukti Bahini member) on 1971 war.
3) Read Blood and tears by a Pakistani writer about 1971 war.
4) Check the website of Federation of American Scientist on 1971 war
5) Read “East Pakistan Tragedy” by L.F. Rushbrook Williams.

If some one deliberately wants to be victimized by false propaganda i can only pray for him/her.

We will definitely apologize for killings of 1971 but it shouldnt be one sided...bangladesh should in return also apologize for murders of bihari muslims, west-pak families and those bengalis who supported pak muslims (razakars, al-shams, al-badr groups)

You want Bangladeshis to apologize to the Pakistanis for incidents in 1971? That is well and truly the height of optimism.

The biharis ( urdu speaking people supporting Pak) killed by (Bangladeshi liberation) mukthi bahni fighters

Even now biharis are not treated peoperly by bangladesh's governament's racist behavious and they call them selves pakistani

Since 1971 Bihari people (two hundred and fifty thousand of them) have been forced to live in 66 camps ,in Bangladesh, sidelined from the mainstream society just because they supported Pakistan...these are apartheid policies of Bangladesh's govt.

Yet there are more than 1-2 million bangladeshis in Pak, living illegally as they came to pak
in 1980s if they hate pak so much why did they come here to work

@ sami6108 ...The question was asked "do pak youth support such kind of action ?"..no sir we dont and we condemn it and i hope bangladeshi youth would also condemn what mukti bahni did to biharis, and bengali supporters of Pakistan

Regards

@ Jack Daws Dude i said in return for our apology..for their ppl killed...they should apologize for our ppl killed ( west pak civilian families, al badr and al shams bengali vaulunteers and razakar bengali vaulunteers) because civilian west pak families and bihari civilians and pro pak bengali vaulunteers according to me were humans too ...may be according to you they weren't thats why u were surprised when i claimed that we also need an apology in return

Both the bengalis (whether pro pak or anti pak) and biharis and west pak's civilians were all humans..and anyone responsible for killing them should apologize..so i think the only way is an apology from both sides.

tusi te jaandey hi ho,tawada room rent tey lita hoya hai:rofl:

jana ji,
good chance,i surely say..
we both can derail the govt ..just come from left and m from right......
job will be done..

, OUR ARMY IS SACRIFICING THEIR LIVES AND INNOCENT PPL ARE DYING, OUR MOSQUES AND SCHOOLS ARE BEING DESTROYED AND WE ARE TERRORISTS?

U STUPID FA9 GET A LIFE AND USE UR BRAIN B4 STARTING SH!T , A44HOLES LIKE U PISS ME OFF N NOW I DONT CARE ABOUT GETTING BANNED

It seems like many in here do not know why Pakistan has always been so apprehensive about tendering an apology. A simple official specific apology of a few words - what harm could it do?

Only one thing - It would mean Pakistan officially acknowledges the mass murders/atrocities committed by the forces. It will set in motion Bangladesh's demands of compensation to the war victims that may range anywhere from 30,000 to 3 million. That will not only twist and blot Pakistan's image and history, but will also show that the Pakistani Army is not immune to rogue generals.

Pakistan Army should hold an apologetic ceremony every year during Bangladesh's independence day. If we just deny that fact that it didn't happen then Pakistan Army will be portrayed inhumane and unprofessional. We dont read or hear Americans denying the fact that African Americans were considered property and used for slavery, we dont see Germans denying the Holocaust and etc.. Pakistanis should recognize this day.

Am I not right?

Yes indeed we should hold one if the other side agrees to hold an apologetic ceremony over the killings of innocent biharis, west pak civilians and bengalis supporting pakistan.

The 1971 war should not have happened. West Pakistan based military junta should have talked with the politicians of both wings and have accepted democracy or a peaceful separation. Democracy was the only thread that could have kept Pakistan united. If it is not democracy, then the other option was a Punjabi-dominated military rule. Although we demanded at least a 50% recruitment of Bangali in the PA, even then we would not accept a military rule.

Biharis were the victims of their own fault. They should have accepted our land as their own. But, they chose to dominate over us with the help of Urdu-speaking immigrant bureaucrats who were at the top of Pakistan civil service. Most of the export-import, wholesale and distribution businesses were owned by them. Most of the factories were owned by them Then, in 1971 these Biharis sided with the PA troops and took part in killing and raping Bangalis.

What do you expect from those Bangalis at the aftermath of the war who lost their beloved ones at the hands of PA, Biharis and razakars? But, now the situation is different. Many of the Biharis living in the northern Syedpur and Parbatipur have accepted the citizenship of Bangladesh.

But, problem remains with the Biharis who live in the Geneva Camps in Dhaka. Their leaders want the issue to survive so that they can earn their profit out of foreign assistance. Biharis have been permitted to take BD citizenship by a HC order, and the GoB did not contest the order in the SC.

But, the Biharis want to go to Pakistan for whatever reasons I do not know. Perhaps, their leaders are coercing them to behave irrationally. Biharis are hard working people. We want them to come out of their ghetto mentality and work for the development of their own fate and also the face of the country.

very well said.

ofcourse acknowleding is no harmful. yet some stubborn and ill informed people think they are acting in their Nationalism. I wish they had some patriotism too !

it was unofficial. . . 95% of Bangladeshis even don't know about it. .. I support this fact that Pakistan should apologise to Bangladesh! This act will increase the acceptability of Pakistan in BD and will shut the mouth of pro-indian politicians in Bangladesh who use 1971 anti pakistan sentiment for vote!

on top of that it would burry the past and start a new beginning between the two nations.
