Its clear india is not buying F21 and that might be enough to tilt trump, if he wins. The Afghanistan issue is still there. We can argue for a balance of power, good diplomacy can convince US legislators.
The US is getting india on its side but it also doesnt want Pakistan fully in chinese camp. This is how the US operates, they will try to keep Pakistan having some sort of "dependency" on US. Given our situation we already depend on them for our F16s, there is no harm in trying to improve our firepower without increasing too much dependency.

Pakistan can’t even get a hold of used F-16s from Jordan but it’s confident about acquiring Block 70s over some nonsense over US wanting to maintain balance of power in South Asia?

The political lines have been clearly drawn: Pakistan is with China and India with US.

Still, money talks. Put up the cash for these F-16s and see what happens. Don’t bank on CSF either.
