Good step.

I always found French speaking Muslims from Africa to be very respectful of Pakistan/Pakistanis in general.

Yes they are, in particular Algerians, some great history between the two countries . Moroccans and Tunisians are also lovely folk, oh and Moroccan women are stunning (sorry had to put that one in). :oops:

I spent time with some algerians and they were utterly disrespectful towards Pakistan.

I've spent time with a huge number and they had the ultimate respect for it. Can I ask you a question, was it a religious based conversation? I have come across hardcore Salafi Algerians who call Pakistan a grave worshiping place etc.

I was in Morocco last week... And frankly speaking it was the most corrupt country I have visited in life. Everybody literally tries to rob you. The kids are so smart that if you ask them a question like where is so n so place... They will quickly say I help you and will take you to place even if its 10 seconds walk... And then will not spare you before you give them money...

People negotiate even worse then South Asians... My wife liked a stone... The guy demanded 100 dirhams... I offered 30... My wife was insisting to pay 100 but i kept repeating 30... After 2 minutes he sold for 30... The juice vendor display 10 dirham and if you dont confirm twice he will demand 20... If you ask why are you advertising 10... He will say its for the glass not the disposible glass... Or make another excuse like its bigger glass etc... If you give bigger note to shopkeeper he will make mistake and give you less money... I bought something for 20... He gave 20 back and when i asked... He was like oh oh yeah take another 10...

Almost everybody we spoke to ended up demanding for money... We went to Marrakech so in my opinion it was split in two parts... Modern marrakech feels like dubai... Really modern... And the main (Madina) feels like Old Lahore or any old city of Pakistan... The products they are selling are also similar to Pakistan so you dont actually feel like you are in Morocco just that the shopkeepers and everybody is looking to rob you rather than welcoming foreign tourists...

Yeah I agree Moroccan girls are se** aham beautiful...

I have spent some time with Moroccan scholars about 10-12 years ago and they were very respectful towards Pakistanis.... When I was in Morocco everybody was happy to hear we are from Pakistan and reminded us about Muslim brotherhood before trying to rob us.

May be they are poor so it is natural for them or they find tourists attractive to get quick cash. There was a restaurant in Morocco and me and my wife both agreed that we have never experienced such high standard of service in our life... The staff was so attentive and the food was also amazing... I would recommend morocco to anybody just to visit that restaurant

Cheers

The Tourism Industry the close proximity to Europe, with European tourist coming over has spawned many negative influences on North African society. The society accepts it because it comes with money attached. I have heard, from a non-muslim classmate in university that he went there to have sex with boys.

Also, from documentaries you can see the influence of European NGOs running schools there. Admission to those schools requires abiding by a lot of European Culture norms, not just clothing. Sad state of affairs.

Italy is nice... You can't compare it with Morocco but I do understand your point espacially if you go alone in Italy without prior knowledge and if visit the areas around Sicily. I have travelled about half of Italy in numereous visits and each visit was a different experience... Venice being best followed by Rome and the farther you travel from Rome... The worse it is

@Topic

I welcome Pakistan and Moroccan relationahip and firmly believe we need to engage with brotherly nations and increase bilateral trade. Pakistan can import so much from morocco espacially their leather products and can export so much to Morocco espacially the food items

To be honest bro I’ve experienced the same in Turkey and yes Pakistan, people trying to rip you off. It’s just how it is.
Other than that I’m glad your holiday went well.

We have not heard a clear plan from IK regarding tourism. How does he want to manage it? We have so many good places, Which placeses will he focus on? We need resorts for foreign tourists and promote tourism.
