Pakistan is the safest country in terms of food security: minister

if food is surplus, why there r so many hungry people, why so much imports, why so much inflation??????

I believe the Minister pointed out the crops in which Pakistan is self sufficient, and even able to produce an exportable surplus.

Hunger is not related to an nation's self-sufficiency in food production, but with poverty, income levels, inflation and efficient food management (storage, distribution etc.).

Inflation is a tied into poor food management - whether it be allowing hoarding, smuggling or inefficient distribution causing artificial shortages in some areas, and various other economic factors, and is not merely a function of a nations food self-sufficiency (in terms of production).

That is what we China should learn from Pakistan and borrow some Islam Law. For example, whoever committed food fraud production and distribution, we should cut off their hands or get themselves stoned. The punishment in China for those suckers are really not harsh enough.

I will totally agree with such punishments.
