What's new

Pakistan is our Mecca Medina: Navjot Singh Sidhu

It has already started!!!! India can't afford a success for Pak even on humanitarian grounds!!!

Backstabbing India’s Leap of Faith by Lt Gen Prakash Katoch

They don't trust the Sikh folks who have been serving the IA with successes against Pak!!! According to this former IA Lt Gen, "Our pilgrims streaming into Pakistan may include unscrupulous individuals and some weak enough to ward off separatist propaganda, which the ISI will subject them to possibly in conjunction Chinese advisors."

Pak has already won in this tussle....

Hence, the Indian policy makers are caught off guard in a dilemma!! They can't afford millions of Sikhs visiting their "Mekka and Medina", which happen to be inside Pak!!!! It's against the principal punch lines of the story they have been so successfully crafting!!! Moreover, they can't allow greater Lahore to be the natural capital of this part of the region!!! I am pretty sure they will resort to false flagged terrorism to deter the Sikh folks!!! Anyway, it's a win/win for Pak showing very simple and straight forward humanitarian gestures owing to their shared history....

Hi,

The Indian policy makers are devastated---. IK has done coupe de grace---. The sikh punjab movement will start taking momentum one more time---.

Hindkowan/Hazara area - Hindko speakers, half Pukhtoon- half Punjabi; Seraiki - half Sindhi, half-Punjabi, mostly in south Punjab. There are also related groups in North Punjab and Kashmir like Paharis.

Salamu Alaikum

Hindkowans are not half Pashtun, they just lived/live in the same area as them. Seraikis also originally came from Balochistan (but not all of them are necessarily ethnic Balochis).

Well the great Quaid offered them an opportunity to join Pakistan and keep their sacred Punjab united but at that time they were busy sucking up to the Hindus.

If true then no way Pak can deny their rights to visit their holy sites!!!! This is almost an HR issue!!! A good initiative from IK...

We never did. Sikhs have always been welcome even when the tensions with india were on the highest. There are plenty of vloggers covering this on youtube as well.
It's just before they had to go through a VISA process, now they will be allowed without it.
I just wish our Makkah and Madina could go VISA free, but all thanks to the family of Saud and the rebellion against the Caliphate, Muslims no longer have easy access to Hijaz, and they can stop any one from visitng there anytime they wish, just like they did with Qatar...

Check this...

Pakistan needs to do more to facilitate Sikh Yatris in Pakistan.
  1. Should establish an airport near Kartarpur so Yatris would land in Pakistan straight.
  2. Should offer easy 7-28 days visa upon arrival with free access to Kartarpur areas. For visiting other Gurduwaras outside Kartarpur, there can be few check and balances.
  3. Allow them full access to Kartarupr and some 10 KM square area around the Temple.
  4. Provide quality residential services, hospitality services, hospitals and an opportunity to do farming in Kartarpur as Baba Guru Nanak Sab used to do, may be they can plant trees and leave a part of their existence in the area as a memory.
  5. Should plant fruit trees and wheat or rice of Kartarpur that can be made available to Sikh community all over the world.
  6. Should install wells near Gurdwara who's water can be bottled and made available to Sikh Yatris all over the world.
  7. Should plant flowers that an be delivered fresh in all Gurduwaras all over the world. All temples use flowers, so why not flowers of their most holy place.
  8. Should establish Guru Nanak University where Sikh students could learn religious and social knowledge.
  9. Kartarpur Food City, where cultural food is served to all visitors.
  10. Kartarpur Maila, an annual gathering of Sikh yatris from all over the world.
  11. Shadi centres, where Sikh couples could get married traditionally. That will bring lots of participants into that area.
  12. Guru Nanak Publishing centre to produce books about history of Sikh Dharam and the message of peace they carry.
  13. Pakistan can transform Kartarpur for the benefit of Sikhs so much that benefits of its peace will spread across Pakistan, in India and in four corners of the world.
There is so much that Pakistan can do for Sikh Yatris and there is so much that Sikh Yatris can do for Pakistan. Pakistan has no ill intentions, it just wants Sikh community to nullify the political poison that India cooks against Pakistan and that will be beneficial for all sides.

2 weeks ago I was flying to Pakistan via PIA and the flight was made up of 95% Sikhs and there were only handful of Pakistani onboard the flight from London Heathrow.

PIA should offer flights to facilitate the Yatra from all over the world and this can bring PIA out of the Brink of extinction. The sikhs when they landed at Lahore got clearance through a special prearranged passport control.

That is good facilitation of the yatris. There will be a mega demand from the the vast sikhs abroad to fly into Pakistan and the gov can make sure PIA is used because at least its direct flight and not a connecting flight.

Yes it is true..their most sacred sites are in Pakistan also the founder of their religion copied a lot of material from Muslim Sufi poet Baba Bhulay Shah ..you can say he is Maulana Rumi of Punjab.
Moron ,

Guru Nanak was dead for 150 years before Baba Bulleh Shah was born .

Err ..it would have been difficult for Guru Nanak Dev to have ' copied' from Bulleh Shah given the time lines below :

Bulleh Shah : Born 1680, Died : 1757
Guru Nanak Dev : Born :1469, Died :1539

Even if it is fake, it will make him the target of further anger and possibly physical threats from Hindu extremism in India.

Not really. Sidhu has been in the comedy circuit on TV for a long time & has blurred for himself the line between reality & a TV show.

Further Hinduism like all other religions advises its followers not to harm the demented .

With election time the congress is trying to play its cards , BJP meanwhile is doing the same by trying to shaft the Congress.

These antics will go on.

It was Baba Farid not Bulleh Shah. However, Poetry of Bulleh shah is appreciated by Punjabies of every religion.
