Pakistan has not been alienated after Abbottabad operation: PM

Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday said that Pakistan has not been isolated after the Abbottabad operation and that the international community continues to support the nation, DawnNews reported.

Speaking in the Senate about the Abbottabad operation, Gilani said that the Chief of Army Staff was the first one to inform him about the operation and had called him at 2am that night, however, at that time it was not known who the helicopters belonged to.

Gilani said that Osama bin Laden had not been invited to Pakistan and that Pakistan had sacrificed a lot in the war against extremism and the international community supported these efforts of the nation. He said that if there were any shortfalls in the government’s policies then the Parliament could help in correcting those.

I am not sure when some people will wake up. What are they waiting for before they start cleaning up the mess created for decades?
