Pakistan begins crackdown on Islamist militant groups

Crackdown on the remnants of militant groups is an internal matter of Pakistan and is being dealt with internally this time. Priority is to find out which, among all these groups, are involved in Anti-Pakistan activities because the enemy to the east has been defeated in an open battle so he will try his best to threaten Pakistan's stability and security through proxies deeply embedded within the ranks of said militant groups.
I also agree with you @Pan-Islamic-Pakistan that we need to be extra careful so that the creation of another nightmare like TTP etc. can be avoided.

You are mistaken, most of these groups are already tied to Pakistani politicians, namely N league but they have PTI supporters too. They are apolitical, and cut across sectarian lines, mostly they give speeches and lectures about Kashmir to keep the cause active.

These are not militant groups, and they don't engage in militant activity. They only given moral support to Kashmir freedom fighters, like Pakistani government.

The West is using these groups only as a ruse and they will quickly move unto other carrot and stick type of pressure tactics.

We are still living in a fairy land where we think that bowing to outside pressure will somehow placate our enemies, it won't.
If Pakistan will face sanctions because of them then corrective action is needed

How can you be a terrorist for only organizing rallies and standing up vocally for the Kashmir cause?

Both Mumbai and Pulwama were false flags, and everyone knows it.

I can show you in my own area in the US, several openly xenophobic hate groups (with signs, ammunition, advanced weaponry, and political support.) They have training camps where they practice breaking into homes and shooting at targets in the shape of minorities. All of this being done in the open with full support of churches and politicians. These are actual terrorist groups.

RSS and affiliates, which I named earlier, are openly organizing camps to teach propaganda, military tactics, and coordinate against their enemies with full blessings of the Indian government.

In Israel, leaving out their support for terrorist groups like YPG and Daesh, their state is organizing settlers into vigilante mobs in the occupied territories with full military training, funding, and organized demolitions of Palestinian homes.

More than the Indian threat, it is the FATF sword that is compelling us to take this action. If we get on the blacklist, say goodbye to any major investment or lending and say hello to being the Zimbabwe of Asia.

We are front line state on war against terrorism. Nothing new. We will continue to hunt jihadis. There are 75 + banned organisations in Pakistan , they have no future. Only bullet can bring peace. No country can allow to use land against other country.

I do not care for your tantrums.

If killing your own citizens can bring peace to the world, try your best.

We killed Many rats in Swat operation .Now there is peace & tourism sector is booming.
We killed thousands and there is decline in suicide bombing in Pakistan. Bullet makes big difference.

Yes yes tell me more of how you are efficient in killing your own citizen. Tell me stories of how you need daisy cutters and jdams to make Pakistan great again.

i am all ears. tell me how islam has ruined your magnificent rise to nationhood.

and they are not following the law of the country and killed thousands of innocent peoples in the country, think about it @Retired Troll :crazy::crazy:

those are sitting in the parliament. every political party in Pakistan has a militant wing.

So what we do kill them all @Retired Troll and they believes their own version of Islam which is all wrong @Retired Troll :crazy::crazy:

For one; Pakistan does need to tidy up it's home. If the state does not have the power to shepherd them; box them in and put them behind bars. If they want to integrate in society like the rest of us normal folks, they're welcome to.
Pakistan needs to grow economically to be a viable responsible state; and having all these folks in our backyard doesn't help us one bit.
Sanctions can crush our economy so the government needs to kotow the global narrative against terror. Our narrative forming process is weak at the moment and we don't have lobbyists in washington tospend the money that the US and India can afford to for playing with proxies (syria, south america, rss etc) and get away with it.
