Pakistan Army decided to clean the house and send elected government packing back in April 2022 in name of inefficient management. Since then, due to dismal performance of PDM and then caretaker set-up, army had to take over federal hospitals, NAB, WAPDA and NADRA. And somewhere among all this, Army decided to run country's fiances in the form of SIFC.
Now newspapers are reporting the Army is thinking of taking over the Electricity Distribution Companies. Apparently an active duty Brigadier rank officer would oversee each of theses companies.
"According to officials privy to the development, a serving brigadier and his supporting staff comprising officials from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and Intelligence Bureau (IB) will oversee matters at the Performance Monitoring Units (PMUs) to be established in in all the loss-making Discos".

Very good it will give some relief to consumers .Pakistan Army decided to clean the house and send elected government packing back in April 2022 in name of inefficient management. Very good decision by army to take control , it will take steps to establish peace with India. We have already witnessed how the economy is performing since the generals took over.
Very good it will give some relief to consumers .

There was indeed a rumor that the Fat Shaitan was tricked into coming back to Pakistan to be hanged.Gradual take over of the country. Forget democracy for a long time. The boots are taking over.
So why were you indignant sanghis bashing army for the last 70 odd years and now all of a sudden have started singing it's praises...Very good it will give some relief to consumers .

There has never been any democracy in Pakistan nor will there ever be, unless Pakistani public exercise the taliban option and overthrow the colonial slaves of military establishment and the rest of the westernized degenerate elites...Gradual take over of the country. Forget democracy for a long time. The boots are taking over.
Right now the fauj has burnt its bridges with every political party. PPP hates their guts, PML-N despises them and what they did to PTIIt seems like elections, whenever they are held would be just a formality and the elected officials will have a very limited scope.
I am not sure if Nawaz will be willing to work in that kind of role. Good chances are things go back to ‘99.
Taking over? LOL they're running the show for 75+ years, but now they are shamelessly coming on the front lines. People have woken up to this reality now.Gradual take over of the country. Forget democracy for a long time. The boots are taking over.
Eventually? PAKISTAN IS RUN BY THE MILITARY GENERALS.There was indeed a rumor that the Fat Shaitan was tricked into coming back to Pakistan to be hanged.
There are lots of mixed messages, something the Pakistani deep state excels at.
Eventually Pakistan will be a one-party state because politicians squabbling to gain power just to make $$ and get rich have done nothing for Pakistan but destroy it.
The best course of action then is to completely remove these crooks from the game to begin with.
Ideally they should all be hanged, along with the so called "religious figures" most of which are even bigger crooks.
To be honest from all the blunders made in past...
This one is a good decision... I wanted to creat a thread for this particular topic...
1. Electricity will help improve economy
2. People will be more busy doing their own things rather than sitting and discussing politics..
3. If ASIM Munir can fix the electricity crisis within next few months then his image as well as image of armed forces will definitely improve..
But ASIM needs to break the monopoly of politicians on electricity issue so noone can use this as a tool .... especially Noon league...
Definitely a good move if they are able to fix that crisis..
I heard Elon Musk saying somewhere that entire US can be powered by solar energy if only 100 miles radius is used to install solar panels....
I think Pakistan should work on three approaches to this crisis..
1 Grade A nuclear powered electric centers like govt buildings and mega cities Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Lahore , Karachi,Faislabad, Sailkot.. basically any city with international airport should be using nuclear energy...
2. Grade B improving current hydro generated electricity for small cities..
3. Starting a program, give people initiative to install solar panels especially agriculture sector..
4. USE reconstruction of Pakistan railway system and as you put new tracks you also use this program to provide and improve electricity infrastructure.. something like 25 year plan to improve railway/electric/water infrastructure....
Lay tracks on top and run electric as well as water lines along those tracks... And just maintain them ....
This project itself can provide 100000's plus jobs... Involve private and public funding to invest in those programs..
Pakistan is NOT run by the military. It is run by mafias. The Military has tried various ways to clean things up but that have not worked. Then it decided to take complete and total control to clean things up.Eventually? PAKISTAN IS RUN BY THE MILITARY GENERALS.
What about the Army Generals that are corrupt and criminal to the core? will there be accountability of Bajwa, Musharraf?
Lets for example name a developed country that is run without accountability?
All the illegal lands mafia, smuggling, and tax free trade corrupt army officers do?
One has to be smoking pipe to believe that the Army is capable of fixing things. When in fact they have broken up the country and run it down the shithole. People don't have electicity or clean water to because all civilian instructions are being held hostage by Army officers. Judiciary, media, police, and now hospitals.
The hospitals new moto would be - . Do or Die - Never ask why.
The courts and police can only be fixed in one way: abolish them.1)PIA fixed
2) Pakistan Railways fixed
3) Suparco Fixed
4)Pakistan steel mills fixed
Almost 200 crown corporations staffed with retired and self serving military personals withdrawing 2 pay checks fixed.
And to top it all off
Courts fixed
Police Fixed
Election commission of Pakistan fixed
Balochistan Fixed
kashmir fixed
siachin fixed
Afghanistan border secured and wired
smuggling by army personals fixed
State of Pakistan FIXED
Idiots that think same people who destroyed Pakistan can fix Pakistan priceless.
Napak army is the reason Pakistan has never progressed... and it is also responsible for breaking our country in 1971, which it is determined to do again.Sometimes I wonder do we have a reason to love this institution anymore? They don't guard borders for us, they prevent enemies from taking a piece of country they themselves rob.
You're not our army, we don't own you anymore.
If they did that, the first person I will shoot is the first general I see.I think eventually they will conscript all males to serve in Army too.
He will still have a place to loot. Can noonies on this forum can explain if army takes over all the day to day running of the country… what will Nawaz sharif do once he win the rigged election
Scratch his hairy balls all day ?
