F-16s were always meant for the Undia. Similar statement was made by ex-COAS Rao Qamr when we received it that PAF can use it for any defensive purpose. I wonder why Washington has been bitc**ing about this lately?

It is also worth mentioning that its coming from a person who has been a F-16 fleet manager and a former fighter pilot who recently got invited for a F-16 ride by PAF just for the sake of old times
