Afghan-Pak-Turkey? Is this american led alliance? why Iran is sitting out?

Exactly I was wondering the same??

Iran has a long border with Afghanistan and for any meaningful stability, they should be involved.

India of course has no role in these combined excersise.

Turkey holds joint meetings with Pakistan and Afghanistan yearly. Iran is not involved in this.

Turkey is trying to improve relations here and a way to do that is hold a joint exercise in combating extremism that runs rampant in both countries.

We are traing large number of them in India..at IMA and other places.

We have to organize similar events where both countries contributes. trust building is the key to victory. We know very well in which trouble Nato will leave Afghanistan and Pakistan and how will anti-Pakistan entities will benefit from all this. Pakistan had and will have the major role in Afghanistan.
