Why was Zia allowed to militarize the society..... Why was Pakistan given billions of AID during his time in Power.

Why did not Pakistan face any embaroges .... They were even willing to look the other way about our Nuclear program

Even Benaziar Bhutto warned them they were creating a Frankenstein.....

For god sake, Stop living in denial... Accept the truth and try to improve... By denying the truth you are helping none... Every country has a time when it is at its perigee, But it doesn't mean that it will not improve...

If you point some drawback of India, I will accept it and try to improve it, rather than living in denial...

And thats my point.. He had the blessings of another country to screw over his own. How does that make Zia and fundamentalists in Pakistan any less culpable. If someone drinks poison, you may loathe the guy who cheered him on, but cant deflect any blame from the person committing the suicide. Can you?

well I won't blame pakistan completely for it but 90% blame it has to bear.
It would be very hard to become a normal country again ....almost impossible unless the rulers of pakistan believe the saying that "if a part of your body starts to rot and you have no way to stop it then to save the rest of your body you have to chop off the rotten part"....you know what I mean right!!!

What you offered is, sadly, nothing but questions you have no answers to -- Listen, Islamization is a project of the Jamaatis and Zia (who was himslef referred to as "my Jamaati general" by Bhutto -- trying to sell an argument in which the entire Pakistani nation is some thing being acted upon by foreigner (read West) is not an argument it is escapism -- and it's entirely unnecessary.

We did this to ourselves but to understand this means looking into did what -- that "did what" part is the substance of Islamization, you argue that others did this to us, as if you are not aware of "buyer beware" -- what does it say about our character, when we don't take responsibility -- Islam in danger and Jihad, morning day and night and now it's somebody else's fault.

How much more truthful, simpler and dignified to accept that we got hoodwinked - we bought a bunch of garbage without much discussion of it's merits and worse still we still continue to do this even now - Mr. Abidi is not taking any joy in telling the truth, but he knows that it's the first step towards making things right.

Pakistan are a giant nation, not a particularly bright one, but a giant and they want to be told the truth - we've got ourselves in a mess, what's the way out - whatever that way out may be, can it be even more of this Islamization BS?? Can it be more of treating citizens not as equal but by their confession and sect ??

You People decided to get together with US to take down Soviet Union , which you people still boost about . Proxy war with India was Ok until you started this whole new breed of Jihadi soldiers for Afghan resistance . Then your establishments started using them as assets .

Now again you jumped and landed into US laps to take AIDs and crush those very guys whom you people created and groomed them as assets .

What do you expect in response that they will have to die coz now you have put them in enemy list , they are in anger and rage as your establishment have betrayed them for non other then US and West which is seen a enemy in your own country.

This will not stop here...this will go on until you make truce and start understanding that terror assets are dangerous for world and for Pakistan.
