Global ratings, good or bad has nothing to do with people whom always have their motherlands in their top most priorities and love it no matter what kind of situation they are into.I love mine and I dont need what the world thinks about pakistan or pakistanis.its always our Land ans US guys.we stand for it we die for it.Pure and Simple :pakistan:

all of these countries are very rich when it comes to per capita income. All of them have strong allies. Few are nato members. Just population and Soldiers count down't make you powerful.

Then the dynamics are clearly not defined. Barring Turkey, none of the other countries stated have even fought a half decent war in decades, let alone influence anyone else.

power is fighting a war and having a big army. THats what Indians think.
it's more than that. India cannot even isolate Pakistan or get entry into NSG and think they are powerful because they have a huge untrained and ill equipped army.
All of those countries have enough influence and power that they can with the help of allies isolate any country including India and Pakistan. remember sanctions?

And let's not get into the whole training issue; the massively powerful NATO couldn't even handle RPG wielding taliban and other warlords in Afghanistan. Just dropping bombs from aircraft, having fancy armour and assault rifles doesn't automatically signify 'powerful'.

That way even Croatia and Luxembourg are more powerful than both India and Pakistan.

Which is not the case. There has to be a clearly defined set of parameters such as economy, or military might, or a mix of both and then correlate it with the global political influence quotient (simply put, quantification of the influence through a metric).

Just randomly listing countries based on half-@$$ed knowledge doesn't exactly legitimise any list.
