I reckon they have sensed out that after introduction of the new arrivals in Pakistani Market no one will give a f*** about their cars anymore. Hence, apply a strategy that can bring a quick hefty revenue in a very short period of time and get the hell out of here.

Also, demand might be decreasing hence the price increase to stay with the yearly returns.

Compare the re conditioned Japanese cars with junk Suzuki is selling in Pakistan. Pak Suzuki should be closed after seeing the quality of the cars Japanese produce for their local market.

I am a Common Pakistani.
I never said you are not Pakistani :D
but i will not call you idiot for driving Mehran because you cannot afford Honda or toyota..I agree that mehran and others suzuki cars should cost less than half of their current market prices but they are still cheapest cars available and thats the only reason people on tight budget opt for them

I think the argument being made was with respect to used imported car having a better value than a new Mehran. Used refurb imports which fall within the same price range.

Outside of price... safety is an often overlooked critical item by most Pakistani buyers. Would any sane person put their family in a tin box without ANY basic safety features and would crumble like a tissue upon any slight impact??
Safety features from the last 20 years that every other car has incorporated except Suzuki...

Hence the term "idiot"... its more generic term rather than a personal target... it represents a very poor thought process.

what kind of an idiot is going to buy their cars!!??

Right now, there is no competitors, otherwise there would be lined up for Hyundai/Kia/Genesis, VW/Audi/Skoda,...etc, right now. People will pay for what they are getting right now. If they are sold out, that gives confident to the potential investors like Hyundai, VW in the future since people are willing to pay crazy prices for non-premium models that is hardly any International standard.
