Railways Minister Shaikh Rasheed Ahmad says Quetta-Taftan section and its up-gradation are imperative for Pak-Iran relations.
He was talking to Iranian Ambassador Mehdi Honardoost, who called on him in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Both sides agreed on mutual cooperation in Railways. It was also decided to constitute a technical committee of the two countries to resolve issues pertaining to railways.

arliamentary Secretary for Railways Mian Farrukh Habib said that a modern railway system was being introduced in the country as railways was the backbone of the national economy.
