are there any similar cases in Pakistan,where Indian muslim asks for citizenship..?

Im sure there are some Kashmiris who might have asked to move to Pak (assumption)...how well their immigration was handled is not something I am privy to..

If you're referring to my discussions with the other members, do note that I do not have any ill will towards these people and do actually pity their situation and hope they can get help...

Just not from India at this point in time..maybe when we are developed and have eliminated our problems.

these hindus seem opportunists, but we cant turn them away. They cant be given any relaxation for citizenship but they should never be forced to leave.

I am not blaming them but they should be honest and open about intention... we know situation is not good in pakistan so they have legitimate case to ask for asylum..
but their claim of natural inheritance of indian citizenship is wrong.. they have to jump through same hoops ... that others do.

Indian Secularism is a big joke. I agree that rural Marathi Muslim aren't extremists. But majority of Indian Muslims are good for nothing trouble-makers.

That is just wrong on so many levels..I really wish you wouldn't speak in that tone about Indian Muslims. They are our compatriots at the end of the day. nevertheless, you are entitled to your views and opinions.

How could the poor migrate? They couldn't cover transportation and various other costs.

Brother a lot of them did! In Punjab and in Sindh..there are videos documenting the entire event...
Some may genuinely have had monetary issues...But in this particular case, that doesnt seem like the case...

ndian Muslims were bribed to stay in India. Check out 1946 partition-election results. Every Muslim from north to south voted for Muslim league. Politicians still have to bribe them for votes. A lots of money has been spent on Haj,grants,scholarships,schemes etc. on this anti-national community.

The grants and scholarships is not meant as bribes....its meant to be tools to uplift that community..
If India is to progress, everyone has to be brought along...

The only secular Indian politician was Babasaheb Ambedkar. Even he said send Muslims to Pakistan or you will have troubles. And he was right !

Not everyone can be right about everything. Ambedkar was wrong on this count then...

The only mistake we made was letting Nehru become PM...it should always have been Patel!
The reason India is one country as we see it today is thanks in many ways to Patel...
