In Asia, when we talk about religious tolerance, Singapore and those east Asian countries are pretty tolerant. But then, they have a low population of minorities.

That's because Singapore has no majority their biggest majority is Buddhism with 33%? Then Christianity, No religion, then Islam at 16% each and then Hinduism at 5%.
Plus Singapore also has history of marginalising Indians remember?

Singapore marginalizing Indians? No mate, i can assure you that.
The current president of Singapore is Indian I think. And even on it's coins, there is malay, chinese and indian language written. Everything works on merit there, where only the best will be rewarded, and no judgement based on race happens there.
It's my neighbor country, so of course, I'm always keeping track on what's happening there. Just like how you guys keep track on what's happening in Pakistan.

All reports are from the same single incident that took place in 2009 .
IN spite of all this they Christians from Pak are moving to India but the ones from India are not moving to Pak . There must be something good here and something wrong there .
You can't compare one odd incident of riot in India with the daily discrimination they face in Pak .

Indian community now is quite vibrant.
In fact Singapore's name itself is Sanskrit. 'Singapore' meaning Loin City. Plus Singapore is mix of all Chinese, Indian and Malay culture.

Yeap, even in Malay language, Singapore is pronounced as "Singa-pura", Singa = lion, Pura=city.
Malaysia and Singapore were once the same country, but since we split in 1965, they have gone ahead by leaps and bounds, due to the strong importance given to economics and education. I think Malaysia could learn a thing or two from Singapore. While we've progressed too, there is still a bit of us stuck in religious and race based era.

Thats because all the bad things that happens to Christians in Pakistan, does not reach the media as much as it does in India.
Especially considering India is much bigger too.
