Pakistani ambassadors abroad called-in, unusual changes expected in foreign policy
Submitted 9 mins ago

Unusual changes in the Pakistan's foreign policy are expected after Nato raid Pakistani checkpost in Mohmand Agency killing 24 troops as ambassadors serving in different countries across the globe have been summoned for meeting.

Well placed sources in Foreign Ministry Monday said that all Pakistani ambassadors abroad have been called back to Islamabad.

All the ambassadors would meet after the parliament's joint session and during meeting foreign policy and suggestions for reforms would be discussed in the meeting. Alliance in war on terror and future line of action regarding aggression from western borders would be top agenda of the meeting.
It's worth mentioning that Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani and Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar have already directed to review foreign policy inline with the May 14, resolution.

Foreign office was one of the first victim of Ghadari govt.
Immediately after the ouster of Musharraf, he replaced ambassadors to all key states and including the foreign secretary.
Current foreign secretary has damaged Pakistan's image beyond repair.
I say he shall be interrogated but not by Rehman Malik.

Iam surprised about the current steps by the govt. May be they got assured that its their end now from the US/NATO thats why they trying to do somethiing to save their @$$z......

If so, the upcoming development would be quite ExTrA ordinary.

the Bonn conf appeared to be Pakistan bashing conf.

seems as if some major changes have been done by the memo gate issue?

Big question is why?

Ambassadors in countries such as Yemen and Brazil being called back and commisioners of Nepal and Kenya being called back seems as if it is just a normal thing.
