Kinda worried because some, although unreliable, people are claiming sovereign guarantees... but I think they are wary of this already

I know WION, even though it's an Indian propaganda channel, claims Gwadar is used to peddle drugs, could that somehow be true and funding military equipment?

State of affairs are not that worst and a few billion dollars for a 220 million population country is not a big deal, plus Pakistan gets good financing terms from china.
You may not know but Pakistan authorities are very strict on smuggling. Basically smuggling been done by afghans and iranians. Tje iranians smuggling stuff and drigs basically damage Pakistan economy, mostly the smuggling from Afghanistan been financed and facilitated by india.

Speculation leads to a bigger disaster and contest to the reasons being created for such an unwarranted result. Before you start searching on several subjects to gain knowledge or information or even to update your information; the key is not to believe everything otherwise you will be drifting away as the source may want it and in the end you will find yourself lost without a clear vision to see things clearly. Having said that, it is not easy to filter out things but you can however save yourself from such a situation only by not believing into everything. Since you said it is Pakistan and you don't know that means; you are not even aware of any fact instead, confusing yourself already. You have very faulty view of state of affairs. Please don't read into so much of Kumar Bond 007 things.

I confirmed from Pakistan that PAF have ordered 50 JF-17 Blok3 .
Some Pakistan enemy type members are constatntly pushing anti-Pakistan slogans since many years, like,
"" Pakistan is not making JF17-B3 jet fighters, No AZM project in progress, no J-10c , no Z-10 ME ""
But they were and will be always disappointed , and will go to hell , eventually .

Pak diverted project AZM funds for getting J-10c , after adding the minimum 5 squadrons , Project AZM will be back on track ..just my speculation
