PAF next induction - 138th GD(P)

Can anyone please tell me when would be the next induction in PAF as GD(P) and will the girls be eligible or not? I have heard that PAF offers induction as GD(P) twice in a year. Is it true? If yes, then in which months?

And,
Why the girls were not offered induction in 137th GD(P)?

The induction takes place twice a year. But we cant tell you the exact date nor can we confirm if women would be inducted as GD9P)s. As for other branches, yes they do induct women on regular basis.

And if i am not mistaken, the induction for the second batch of the year has already ended. Now it will open again next year. Keep visiting PAF website for more details.

Nope, there are other branches too. And yes, the induction for all the branches is usually takes place at the same time.

IT, Log, Education, Medical and at times Air Defence. But it is not necessary that every time the induction opens, it would be for all the branches, as was the case with 137 GD(P).

lol, I was asking about the type of induction. You did not understand my query, I was asking about the induction in medical branch. I have never heard of it. Can you please explain this ?

Just so that you dont get further 'confused', here something you must know (as regards to medical branch):

General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO)
Child Specialists (Classified / Graded Specialists)
Gynaecologists (Classified / Graded Specialists)
Skin Specialists (Classified / Graded Specialists)
Medical Specialists (Classified / Graded Specialists)
ENT Specialists (Classified / Graded Specialists)
Radiologists (Classified / Graded Specialists)
Anaesthetists (Classified / Graded Specialists)

To add further, unlike the Army, you got to have a MBBS degree before you join the medical branch of the PAF.
