Next gen is AH66 RAH and it is a single rotor design with shrouded tail rotor.

Sir AH66 is light attack Heli and was cancelled long time ago.

Because mi-35s have similarities with MIs in Pakistani service(s).
I believe they have the same powerplants.

So Pakistan has the nessecary infrastructure (Complexes) to maintain,repair & overhaul Russian MI series.. making it less easier to maintain.

Than it has the additional capability to carry troops & cargo.. reducing dependence on additional choppers to provide cover/escort.

In hot zones, unarmed ot lightly armed choppers fly in formations/pairs.

Never heard of it.. however FC I & II operate a limited number of choppers including Ecureuils and MIs.
