Ambassadors of the P-5 Missions in Islamabad were apprised on Thursday about the recent, intensified anti-Pakistan propaganda emanating from India about alleged activation of terrorist camps.

Acting Foreign Secretary Moazzam Ahmad Khan gave the briefing in Islamabad today.

Referring to the intensified, concerted Indian campaign against Pakistan, especially for the last few days, he said senior Indian military commanders have been giving provocative statements. Similar venomous rhetoric against Pakistan also continues on Indian media.

Moazzam Ahmad Khan said these Indian statements signify their desperate attempts to divert attention of the International community from humanitarian nightmare in the Occupied Kashmir where Indian atrocities, including curfew and communications blockade continue for over 50 days.

He said Indian statements only vitiate an already tense environment and are a threat to regional peace and stability.

He said Pakistan does not wish confrontation but will give a befitting response in case of any misadventure or false flag activity.

He said Pakistan strongly rejects these baseless, unfounded allegations which are being used to build the ground to preemptively justify any Indian misadventure or false flag operation by Indian armed forces along the Line of Control or elsewhere.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has offered permanent members of the UN Security Council or any other country inspection of alleged terror camps to prove that India’s allegations are “totally baseless”.

The offer came during a briefing organised by the Foreign Office on Thursday for the ambassadors of P-5: the US, Russia, China, France and the UK.

Indian army chief General Bipin Rawat said that the alleged terror facility in Balakot had been reactivated.

The Foreign Office invited the P-5 diplomats to visit the site to unearth the truth. Pakistan has already strongly rebutted the Indian charge, calling it as an attempt to divert the attention from precarious human rights situation in occupied Kashmir.

A statement issued by the Foreign Office said Acting Foreign Secretary Moazzam Ahmad Khan briefed resident ambassadors of the P-5 missions in Islamabad about the recent, intensified anti-Pakistan propaganda emanating from India.

Referring to the intensified, concerted Indian campaign against Pakistan, especially in the last few days, he stressed upon the aggressive, belligerent statements emanating from India, especially the Indian military, including, baseless, unsubstantiated allegations of “terrorist camps”.

The acting foreign secretary noted that senior Indian military commanders had been giving provocative statements about the presence of the so-called “terrorists planning to infiltrate India” and activation of “terrorist camps” in Mansehra, Rawalakot and Muzaffarabad in AJK.

Similar venomous rhetoric against Pakistan continues on Indian media.

“These Indian statements signify their desperate attempts to divert attention of the International community from the humanitarian nightmare in IOJ&K where Indian atrocities, including curfew and communications blockade continue for more than 50 days,” Moazzam told the ambassadors.

He said Indian statements only vitiated an already tense environment and were a threat to regional peace and stability. “Pakistan does not wish confrontation but will give a befitting response in case of any misadventure or false flag activity,” he stressed.

He went on to add that Pakistan strongly rejected the baseless, unfounded allegations which are being used to build the ground to pre-emptively justify any Indian misadventure/false flag operation by Indian armed forces along the Line of Control or elsewhere.

“We call upon the P5 countries to ask India to corroborate its fallacious claims about the presence of these so – called terrorist camps,” he said.

“Pakistan is ready to provide full cooperation to delegates from P5 countries or diplomats from any other country who wish to visit any of the alleged locations to see for themselves that such Indian allegations are totally baseless and a mere rhetoric, to mislead both the international community and Indian domestic audience,” Moazzam further said.

The briefing was arranged just a day before Prime Minister Imran Khan’s address to the UN General Assembly session.

The prime minister is likely to raise India’s attempts to carryout misadventure by using false flag operation as a pretext.

Tensions between Pakistan and India have been simmering since August 5 when India stripped occupied Kashmir of its special status.

The disputed territory remained under lockdown since, with reports of torture being inflicted on Kashmiris by the Indian security forces.

Prime Minister Imran Khan admitted that the international community was not putting enough pressure on India to lift curfew on Kashmir.

He; however, made it clear that Pakistan would continue to use all available options to make sure that voices of the oppressed people of Kashmir are heard.

Other camps?? seems like camps are everywhere in the countries that the west doesn't like, camps were actually the invention of the west, a glorious legacy the west left for the humanity.
