Partners with various Hotels and room owners across various cities and advertised it on their unified portal where we can book , avail discounts etc

No. If I understood, 2,5k is the money that is invested in a room. Ownership remains unchanged. The hotel owner shares profits with Oyo.

Vietnam is becoming a huge international travel destination. Will probably rival Thailand within 20 years.

Thailand receives 40 million tourists per year I believe. 20 maybe too far away, I hope can catch them up in 10 years.

It is basically a franchised budget hotel chain, i.e. if you want to open a small hotel you go to OYO and ask for a franchise contract. They will help you to set up a hotel with management training and you got to use the name OYO for your hotel.

Eg - i run hotel X or have a spare room in my house , i will register my hotel or room at OYO with T/C and they will advertise it on their website
Now i get customers from their website in return they get commission from bookings

I think there is difference in modus operandi in OYO Room in India and OYO Hotel in Malaysia.

Less than 170 metres away from my apartment there is a OYO hotel by name, on the ground floor is a hardware shop. Name of the hotel is called OYO 423 BMS Hotel and it occupies 2nd and 3rd floor of the shophouse. Then there is another hotel named OYO 211 Hotel at 3.1 km away from my place.

There are just hotel code of OYO
For eg in my city there is hotel Srimaan whose OYO code is 691
While they do own some hotels i e they operate both types
