City Government should have relocated these shops to another areas before demolishing it. This is the most stupid way of doing It.
1st you lease the land to shop keepers, you collect rent, then you allowed them to build additional shops so you can collect bhatta and you launder this moneys to London.
You don’t do anything to them as long as they are paying bhatta for 40+ years and now you want to cleanup when SC give danda in your A$$.

wow so i grab a land in middle of my city islamabad in some f or g sector .and after using it decades for free gov must relocate me before demolish my illegal shop which i earn millions in past .

problem is why previous administration allowed illegal shops? most of the shops were there from the last 10 years or so.although this operation is good but it has side effects as well.nobody will give vote to pti next time specially from these places where they are doing this stuff.

Planning is important, and it should have been highlighted in the media prior to this operation. If this operation was just about removing illegal shop, I would have agreed to it but they have removed everyone. Even those paying rent were removed and their contract was canceled. All of these shopkeeper should have offered to relocate to another markets.
I think samething is going to happened to people living in Martin Square. They will be kicked out without relocating them.

Basic rule of administration is justice.

When head of the state allocate free /subsidized land to poor, seems a good idea but its injustice to rest of the Pakistan, especially to that poor guy, who worked 2 shifts at his job and managed to buy a land with his won money after paying tax so that salaries of corrupt politicians and their protocols are paid.

Islam has defined the rule of Zakat and charity to help poor, and that must be followed in Islamic state!

Kachi Abadis are also in violation of various state rules and regulations.
Those are risk to life, which again is held very important in Islam.
Humans live their in miserable state, adding burden to surroundings. Bothering people, making them sick. Also RAW use Kachi Abadis to launch biological war, like Dengu larva, Typhoid bacteria, Polio bacteria and much more unknown bacteria and state become complicit.

Tax payers again have to pay more tax to build more hospitals and medical stores to fix the evil of state sanctioned Katch Abadi.

i am sick of these kachi abadis
first they capture heart of the city and make planning impossible . ugly dirty bad homes are look bad in middle of city they produce 10 babies leave them in city some become robbers some drug users some looter and rest sitting on streets . useless people . we work hard many years to buy a plot in some good location pay taxes built homes and these guys just come from some corner of country build a home on illegal land grabbing place and create sickness all over. a city like Islamabad have f-7 g-7 even f-11 sectors kachi abadis . do you know near diplomatic enclave we have a kachi abadi diplomats from all over the world open a window and see bhooky nangy pakistanis living in slums

My interest is across the board operation. Not weak part. 30 percent of Karachi built on encroachment .
