Osama was in US custody before death: Ahmadinejad

The Iranian president says that Osama was in the US detention before being killed.



Talking to Iran’s state television, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that there were evidences strong enough to prove that Osama bin Laden was in the US custody for a long time.


He said that Obama administration manipulated the Osama’s death to get Obama re-elected.


The Iranian president said that Osama was also used in the war against terrorism.


Bin Laden was shot dead on May 2 in a US commando raid on a compound in Abbottabad.


On May 4, Iranian Defence Minister Ahmad Vahidi too had cast doubt on bin Laden s death, saying there were "ambiguities" over the way he was killed.


“The Americans said that they threw his body in the sea. Why they did not allow an independent expert to examine the body to say it was bin Laden or not?" Vahidi said.


Ahmadinejad said that he was in favour of dialogues, including on Iran’s nuclear programme, with global powers. He said that the best solution of the nuclear issue was cooperation with Iran.

See, i had the same thought before but The AQ did admit that its was OBL..his wives were under pak custody after the raid, did they said anything like that? No, so it was clear that he was hiding in pak and not brought up by the Americans.
