don't worry Islam bashing is a fashion in Pakistan too some ppl just want to malign shirat and they have made it their agenda no 1
Why are islamic rules so extreme and without compassion? I dont mean disrespect, but these kind of rash laws are not for the 21st century. I dont even want to get started on saudi and other islamic countries.
Our male to female ratios are within the world average. In India this ratio is fine in Muslims, but not in the Hindu population. The issue is dowry. When you have a son he can make you money, daughter on the other hand can cost you fortune. So for these parents aborting or choking the life out of the baby is pure business.

The rule where rape has to be witnessed by atleast 4 witnesses. Like the rapist would take four people as witnesses for committing the crime!
And when there are no witnesses, its usually the woman who faces the punishment - usually Death for adultery. Some justice system, eh?
I think this is also same for hinduism.. punishment for adultery is death... as purity is always given lots of importance... n sita also had to give the test... I am just wonder what will happen to many hindu woman if they have to give such tests..
I am not talking about adultery. I am talking about many news reports where Islamic Sharia law had punished rape victims as young as teenagers with death punishment. Just because they didnt have 4 witnesses to save them, while the rapist goes scot free! For the rape it is not required as one can see the physical evidence and now the technology is much more advanced... in islam rape is considered as a worst crime and punished by death in many occasion...
Yes, the bible may say that, but do you see any courts ruling or handing punishments on the basis what the Bible said? NO. But you indeed have judgments passed on what Islamic law says. There lies the difference. But it is in the bible which has for stoned to death for adultery... n asked to give the victim father 50 shackle and to marry the victim by the rappist... so the question easily come whom bible god is actually punishing... the rapist or the victim by forcing the victim to stay with the rapist for her rest of the life..
No. And you are confusing mythological stories with hard and fast rules. In Hinduism, there are no hard and fast rules, there is no death penalty - just the knowledge that Karma is a bi*tch. So be careful with what you do.I think this is also same for hinduism.. punishment for adultery is death... as purity is always given lots of importance... n sita also had to give the test... That still doesnt absolve "Islamic scholars" wanting to impose death penalty on adulterers. Christians dont demand stoning or lashing based on Bible as punishment for rapists. There is the law of the land. Can you say the same about Sharia? But no where in the quran it has asked for death penalty for adultery.. it was just tribal culture and jews and christian used to precise it. N as many early muslims were converted jews and christians ... so many kept the tradition of stoning to death for adultery which is prescribed in the bible..

All those Biblical laws make interesting reading but are not practically possible because their time has gone. So is the case with Islamic laws, but we still have people who want to live in that particular time period.
