The remaining part of #Hazara_Motorway (80 km Mansehra to Thakot section) has been completed and inaugurated by provincial government in July 2020. It is now open for traffic per protocols of motorways and national highways of Pakistan. 8 hours journey from Islamabad to Thakot has now been reduced to only 3 hrs. Earlier this 220 km travel from Islamabad to Thakot used to take 8 hours approximately and we used to pass through the main bazars of every city on the way.

Which company did this particular section, there are three sections(or more) in the 180 kms Hazara expressway, related to execution.

FWO did some section(s), and China Gezhouba Group was also involved in one section this I read.

Many CPEC road projects are all completed by Pak firms like FWO, NHA, NLC and financed by China and it is not that Chinese construction firms are doing the construction, this misinformation need to be corrected.

A small section and some bridges was with ZKB. The section I worked on started from Havelian till Shah maqsood interchange under China communication construction company. The same company had another section in between Abbottabad and Mansehra.

Which main cities/towns does this motorway connect if coming from the Islamabad side?
