Well as much as I like Gold far more than any other foreign currency
but I think this is just some usual nonsense from Debka , it's hard for
me to believe any country do such sort of deals , for Indian it's far more
desirable to pay Chinese or Japanese with $ and take yuan and yen
from them and do the deal with Iran instead of paying Iran wit Gold

by the way if a miracle happened and this unlikely deal has been made
between Iran and India I must say it would be the most favorable deal
that Iran ever made even if they sell the oil for 20 $ less than world
price to India.

I hope you mean word as you say......Here is the reality for friendship with Iran.India is already dealing with unpredictable nuclear armed nation in her neighour. So if also you guys make some additional bombs..it should hardly matters to us. And even otherwise so,if you donot make any nucl@@ bomb that should not impact us in any way. That is the reason ...even without this oil issue, indian public sentiment will be supportive for iran.But most of the time, indian public sentiment never gets any strong support from Iranian public in the subjects that concerns india's intrests.......I would like to know the opinion of iranian forom member about it.

Good intention but bad choice.

Gold is our own cushion against financial volatility and draining out the gold for oil seems a bad move.

They should have thought of some other option.

Increase in gold price is good for india. Most of the indian families have savings in form of gold. Also higher price of gold will increase our forex reserve......
