What's new

Numbers don’t lie, Manmohan Singh was right about impact of Modi’s demonetisation on economy

I had and still have much respect for Mr, Manmohan Singh having said that people should know the difference between a great leader and politician in Mr, Singh case he was neither, but a brilliant economist

Modi move to convert money this fast takes guts and only a good leader will make choices that are hard to swallow, but necessary

Ego.

You just can not take down 85% of working cash and expect a country to grow at same time.

All tier 1 class of India (politicians, Businessman and other influential elites )have already changed cash before even starting this saga.

Its only poor people, Small Businessman, Middle class people and zamindars who suffered.

@Taimoor Khan at least your friend is lucky that he have several properties, Unlike us.

He sold his property in UK to help his parents back in India. He wasnt effected by this as he lives and earn in UK but eventually it came to bite him through family back home.

I am not sure why ego would stop people protesting against this horribly planned and executed job. In Pakistan, had Nawaz Shareed made such blunder, he would have been castrated by now.

You clearly don't know indian mentality.
