Do you want a Muslim to be the PM regardless of capability? If there is someone capable, surely many people will vote for him. Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah and Salman Khurshid are the only senior ones I know of. You'll notice that their credentials pale in comparison to those of Manmohan Singh, Pranab Mukherjee etc. So it is not entirely the fault of the Hindus that we haven't had a Muslim PM.

As an outrageous suggestion, If APJ Abdul Kalam stands for elections, he will sweep the polls!

But in India police permission is not required when it comes to religious ritual.

U dont understand the basic point do u know what noise pollution is first of all? In UK and the West the local council has a level of acceptable noise permitted if anyone breaks them it is against the law and this law applies to everyone whether muslim, hindu, christian etc it is for peoples basic right.

i am quite well-versed with the knowledge of pollution & it's types, and i am also aware that how annoying it can be. but, what you are failing to grasp is the extremist organization of Shiv Sena & their unjust demands which keep on emerging from to time under the pretext of lame arguments. Do you know they they have a history of violence against Muslims, and once went to the extent of eroding cricket pitches so to prevent Pakistan from playing there.

If a Muslim can be the president i.e. the CinC of our armed forces.
If a muslim can head our air force.
If a muslim can head our army's command in Kashmir.

No one told you to live right up next to a Mosque, and cry about here on this forum. Furthermore its not the loudspeakers that irritates, its people who causes hatred amongst people.
