The All Pakistan Hindu Rights Movement (APHRM) has said it will not tolerate any attempts to desecrate their holy books.

This was said at a protest held outside Peshawar Press Club on Sunday. A large number of APHRM members and civil society activists took to the streets against an article published in an Urdu newspaper which accused Hindus living in Pakistan of being “foreign agents”. APHRM Chairman Haroon Sarbdiyal led the demonstration.

Speaking to journalists, protesters said they were deeply disheartened by the views expressed in the article. “Rizwanullah Khan, the writer of the piece, has offended our religious sensibilities,” said Sarbdiyal.

According to the APHRM chairman, Khan accused Hindus who lived in Sialkot, Lahore, Kasur and various parts of Sindh of working for foreign spy agencies.

“Furthermore, the writer has made a series of derogatory statements against Hindus which will not be tolerated at any cost,” he added. Sarbdiyal urged the government to take action against Khan.

“We will hold a protest on Monday (today) near the temple in Gor Ghatri and strongly urge all minority groups to participate,” he added.

APHRM members have appealed to Federal Minister for Information Pervez Rashid to take notice of the matter.

“We have asked him to establish a committee of senior journalists and Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) officials to investigate any breach of journalistic ethics,” Sarbdiyal added.

Krishna is a mythological character who never existed so am afraid you are dialing the wrong number, be can't do much here!

Thousands of poofs exists, that Krishna existed don't wana go deep into discussion as it may hurt someone else sentiments if to goes into argument, thank you..... :coffee: :coffee:

He may have existed, But some myths might have been added while writing Mahabharata.

"MAY' - that's the point

So instead of still crunching on to probabilities it'd be better if people (Pakistani Hindus) in this case voluntarily convert to a religion, existence of whose prophet, can at least be proved.

Kurukshetra is ithasa.

It happened, why would there be stories which indicate precise timings and places?

MahaBharata evolved from Bharata, Rishis added Vedic philosophies and wisdom to Bharata and made it MahaBharata.

Hindus also has many Rishis whose existence can be confirmed, who did miracles and also spread Dharmic faiths. When it comes to faith and philosophy India is a super power.
You are speaking as if humans cannot live with out assurance of some super natural deity?

Lol India a super power when it comes to philosophy?

Majority in India still believe in pagan false beliefs. 3300000 gods and animal worship, now that sounds logical enough to be a super duper philosophy

Actually this is how it goes;

The Rig Vedas are ancient but they were 1st compiled and solidified by an Aryan clan called Kuru. This is where the Kuruskshetra story comes from. Kurus were Kshatriya so they didn't have the same fevour in recording kurukshetra story as Vedas because those were shruti. So this bard tale was based over centuries accumulating and expanding with time. Then in 4 BCE the Kurukshetra got taken up by Brahmins who added a religious angle to it and expanded it greatly from a battle within the Kuru family into something much grander, here Kurukshetra story becomes Mahabharata. Vyasa may have been inserted into the story here. Finally in 4 AD, Guptas fix the Sanskrit version of Mahabharata.

Let me realistic then about Abrahamic faiths.

Those guys who accuse Hindu GODS as false beliefs should know that.

There is no evidence that Abraham existed, there is no proof of David or Solomon existence.

And the main event called "Exodus" migration of Israelites from Egypt to promised lands also do not have any proof. Which also implies that Moses do not exist.

So the faiths that are based on the teachings of Abraham and other prophets which include some prominent personalities like David, Solomon and Moses will also become false.

The teachings that originate from Hebrew Bible (Torah) originated from the wisdom of Jews who were held captives in Babylonia in 5th-6th century B.C.

It is then those books are compiled by adding stories and wisdom of them, Christians and Muslims copied those teachings.

Which also brings to the conclusion that except the concept that "There is one GOD and one Book" Abrahamic faiths do not differ from any of the pagan religions we find.

I would rather follow a liberal, tolerant and flexible religion that a conservative one which instigates hatred and bloodshed.

Regarding animal and nature worship I support that, Hindus also take care of the nature and beings that are created by GOD. It is some kind of respect.
