Voices against terrorism do rise from time to time in Pakistan but successive governments in that country have failed to curb the scourge, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said today.
"I don't think everyone in Pakistan is a terrorist. Voices against terrorism do rise from time to time in that country too. But the intentions of successive governments in Pakistan regarding terrorism have never been clear," Singh told reporters here.

He also showered praise on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his endeavours on the diplomatic front and the manner he is dealing with Pakistan saying the last six months have seen the neighbouring country getting a suitable reply from India for each of its offensives along the borders.

"India has suitably replied to each and every offensive by Pakistan along its borders during the last six months.

"It is also due to the diplomatic efforts of the Prime Minister that even the US has given a clear-cut warning to Pakistan," Singh said.

He said President Barack Obama too does not want Pakistan to become a terror hub and the neighbouring country is constantly under US pressure not to do so.

Replying to a question, the Union Minister said India is known all over the world for its hospitality and Obama will experience it when he arrives on his visit tomorrow.

Describing "renewed interest" of international investors in India as the Centre's biggest achievement, he said the country's economy is fast getting back on track.

Later, the Home Minister paid obeisance at the famous Mansadevi and Dakshin Kali shrines here on the occasion of Vasant Panchmi and said the experience was overwhelming.

Singh will attend the wedding of former Uttarakhand chief minister Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank's daughter in Dehradun tonight.

I agree, not everyone in India is a rapist either. We should really get rid of the generalisations.:coffee:

Very fitting response. But by saying not everyone from Pakistan is terrorist, he is implying that many from Pakistan are terrorists. It's his underhand way of accusing many if not most Pakistanis are terrorist and your response is just fitting.

I know, I understood the premise of his statement. My statement is an exact mirror of his. 8-)

That is why I believe you have the perfect response to his attacks. And it's not just generalization, it's his underhanded and shameful way of calling Pakistanis terrorists. Except that "not all" Pakistanis are terrorist.

Terrorism in Pakistan is our business as it greatly affects us

India should worry about its own internal affairs than what going on across the fense. If you want a good neighborhood, first be a good neighbor. The first thing about being a good neighbor is being a none intrusive neighbor.

1st read about how Terrorism in PK affects us & then try to comment on the topic on which you know absolutely nothing about
