First of all there were five terrorists involved in Pathankot airbase attack and there wasn't any damage to any aircraft or equipment present at the airbase. Reason why NSG took 3 days to eliminate terrorists was the huge size of the airbase and difficulty in locating the terrorists who were hiding in an abandoned building. Mi35 gunship of IAF picked up their heat signatures, they were surrounded it just took 2-3 hours to neutralise all of them.
You need to read about Operation Black Thunder, Op Mouse Trap, 1993 Indian Airlines plane hijacking, Op black thunder, Operation in Akshardham temple to know more about NSG. Op Black Thunder II 1988 was purely a sniper based operation to hit the terrorists hiding in Golden Temple. It was highly successful and shattered the morale of the terrorists and around 200-300 of them surrender. 41 terrorists were killed.

BTW do you remember PNS Mehran attack in which 2 of your aircrafts were damaged. Also Lal Masjid siege where untrained madarsa students gave tough fight to your SF.

you forget to mention flight 814 hijack and my bad itook indian nsg 4 days to clear pathankot airbase. Mehran base was cleared by security forces of that base , SSG wasnt involved plus lal masjid was cleared in 5 hours by SSG .

get ur facts correct. it was besieged by army butssg took 5 hours to clear it .
