It's not very hard to find communal tension stories today. Love Jihad isn't just a story from India's villages - it's often a trending hashtag. But this weekend was an exception, when Muslim couple Nadim Akhtar and his wife Haseen Parvez performed the rites of a traditonal Hindu girl for a girl they adopted. the wedding was formalized at the Ramjanki temple, on the Narmada river's banks in Madhya Pradesh.

Incidentally, they had found the girl at a shelter home, after she had been abandoned at a railway station 15 years ago. Akhtar and his wife helped her achieve education till Class VIII, and take beautician classes. She was married amid the reverbration of Vedic mantras, and her adopted parents presented the new couple with ornaments and everyday use items, as part of the Hindu wedding traditions. "Humanity is the best religion of humankind. We allowed Sharda (23), the bride, to follow her religion," Parvez told India Today

"All muslims are not bad as they are converted from Indian blood but all most all bads are muslims."
all they need to do is revert to their original faith.

Very touching gesture from 2 kind and beautiful people.

I like the name PlanetWarrior came up with.
Let me try as well.

I prefer Indra Baloch !

PlanetWarrior - there is no need to change the surname because it is religion neutral. Its an ethnicity. Baloch are a people, can be of any religion.
