No, it's not true Russia has smaller economy than Italy

Motor production is probably the best indicator of economy out there. Typically, the stronger the manufacturing, the stronger the economy. Sure, there are other sectors of economy such as tourism and fuel export, and one can argue Italy has more tourism than Russia while Russia has more fuel export than Italy, but overall, manufacturing is the predominant sector of economy upon which economy is judged.

As you can see, Russia ranked ahead of Italy at 1.5 million compared to 1.1 million built in 2017.

True. I'm talking about total economy, not per capita economy.

Russia population about 147 million because they annexed Crimea peninsula.
