That is correct, yes. The problem is Indian society adopts cosmetic western ideas like clothing etc. Not concepts of rational thinking, gender equality, innovation and tolerance for minorities.

But they just cherry pick the aspects can be easily commercialized.

Indians should be able to keep what is of their culture to have themselves a distinct identity, but synthesise what is best of the global culture.

make your own dhoti club and dont allow anybody who wears jeans.. hisab barabar..

Actually I agree with the rules........... don't have much of a problem with them............ but it has been a problem with one of my cousin, who has missed a lot of business because he refuses to dress up accordingly.......:p:

Same in Pakistan @Windjammer We are still slaves and think holding high the values of colonialists is a very high virtue. This is is the case in armed forces too.
