I agree, since when did a few 'new years' parties became an indication of peace, especially in a country like Pakistan where no one gives two hoots about the people being butchered in drone strikes?

How can there ever be peace in Pakistan when people are committing suicide due to joblessness, due to hunger?

How can there ever be peace in Pakistan when thousands of people who have been displaced due to conflicts, floods, and earthquakes have yet to return to their homes and many who have no homes to return to where will they go?

How can there ever be peace in Pakistan when there are suicide bombings and target killings?

How can there ever be peace in Pakistan when there is religious intolerance, ethnic, and sectarian violence?

How can there ever be peace in Pakistan when the nation is full of so much corruption, back stabbing, sellouts, bigots, and hypocrites???

You think a few western wannabes holding glasses of champagne posing with a few westerners in a 'new years' party is an indication of peace???
