New Type 99 variant spotted (not Type 99A2)

This is not the Type 99A2, but a new variant.

This recently surfaced photo of an unidentified ZTZ 99 (Type 99) has a different turret "title arrangements" compare to the latest Type99A2 variant. It also sports a different set of headlight and a US M1 style tracks.

It's just the tank without infrared/nightvision optics and active defence system installed. The rubber in tracks are meant to protect the pavement on the roads. Looks more like a test vehicle than variant.
