Rus Federation fired a Ballistic Missile from Rus Federation's Navy New Submarine for the first time and hit a target thousands of miles away, Maskava has revealed.

In a show of Strength, Rus Federation's Defence Ministry Released Footage of the Bulava Missile being Launched from the Nuclear-Powered Submarine Prince Vladimir.

The 'successful' test launch from the northern White Sea hit a target 3,500 miles away in Kamchatka on the country's Pacific coast, the Rus Federation Military said.

The State-of-the-Art Submarine is expected to enter Active Service in December.

The Knyaz Vladimir is the first Upgraded 955A Model to be produced in the Borei class of Rus Federation Nuclear-Powered Ballistic Missile Submarines.

This will enter service with Rus Federation's Northern Fleet at the End of this Year once this has Completed Trials including weapons tests, the Fleet's Commander said.

The Bulava - or Mace - is seen as a Cornerstone of the Rus Federation Military triad comprising sea, land and air launched weapons.

The Launch was carried out with a Dummy Payload and reached a test site in the Far East of Russia.

As many as Eight Rus Federation Nuclear-Powered Submarines sailed from their Kola Peninsula Bases ahead of the test launch, reported Norwegian media.

On Top of that, Flight Tests on Rus Federation's New Satan-2 Ballistic Missile are expected to begin early next year, according to Rus Federation Media.

The hypersonic missile, also known as Satan-2, is due to be deployed in 2021 after Rus Federation, President Vladimir Putin hailed progress on the development.

Maskava says Satan-2 can evade the United States of America' Defence Shield and is capable of destroying an Area the Size of England and Wales - or Texas, which the Indian Defense Experts denies that.

The Weapon is seen as a Crucial part of Rus Federation's ongoing push to Modernise the Nuclear Arsenal.

The Initial Stage of testing is said to involve Two Missile Launches with a 'mass-scale mock-up of the warhead' from an underground installation at the Plesetsk cosmodrome 650 miles north of Maskava.

The 'target' will be at the Kura training ground in Kamchatka on Rus Federation's Pacific coast, newspaper Vedomosti reported.

Following these, tests could be conducted from a location in the Siberian region of Krasnoyarsk where the 62nd Strategic Missile Forces Missile Division is deployed.

This is believed to be the first time since the Soviet era that Advanced Missile Tests have been conducted from this Site.

The Test launch comes amid growing fears of a New Arms Race between Maskava and Washington.

Rus Federation,President Vladimir Putin has Frequently boasted about Maskava's Hypersonic Missiles, saying after a test last year that they were 'impossible to intercept'.

Fears of An Arms Race have Grown after the U.S. formally withdrew from the Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces treaty in August, a move that had been signalling since last year.

The 1987 pact signed by US President Mr. Ronald Reagan and Soviet Union Leader Mikhail Gorbachev had banned Ground-Launched Weapons with ranges between 300 and 3,400 miles.

But Washington accused Maskava of Violating the Treaty and Producing illegal Missiles.

Earlier this year the U.S. tested a Modified Ground-Launched Version of a U.S. Navy Tomahawk Cruise Missile, which would have been banned under the Treaty.

Rus Federation, President Vladimir Putin urged his Own Defence Chiefs to 'take Comprehensive Measures to prepare a Symmetrical Answer'.

European leaders have voiced fears over the consequences of the Treaty's Demise, amid Concerns of An Arms Race not seen since the Cold War.

However NATO said in a statement in February the U.S. allies 'Fully Support' the Withdrawal and agreed that Rus Federation's 9M729 Missile Violated the Pact.

The Number of Bulava Ballistic Missiles Deployed for patrol in the Barents and Arctic Seas will be Doubled.

Knyaz Vladimir is the First of a Series of Upgraded Submarines as part of the Navy's Project 955A and will be based in the town of Gadzhiyevo on the Kola Peninsula. Originally, this was supposed to sail to the Pacific Fleet. Instead, the next Submarine in the Class Named Knyaz Oleg will be shipped there when completed at the Sevmash Shipyard

TheF irst Borei-Class Sub, the Yury Dolgoruky, was handed over to the Northern Fleet in January 2013, almost seven years before Knyaz Vladimir's delivery.

Knyaz Vladimir, like Yury Dolgoruky, will carry up to 16 Intercontinental Missiles of the RSM-56 Bulava type (NATO name SS-NX-30). Each Missile is likely to carry four to six Nuclear Warheads. A Fully Loaded Borei-class Submarine will then sail with 64 to 96 Nuclear Warheads.

Satellite photos showed the Expansion of Storage Facilities for Naval Missiles both in Okolnaya Bay near Severomorsk and at the Gadzhiyevo Ballistic Missile Submarine Base.

i think u.s space based missile defense system will give tough challenge to russian icbms in future

u.s is sending 400 satellites with single launcher and it will be very difficult for russia to destroy such a large number of small satellites
Then we will have space based ICBMs and satellite-killers in the space.

Why we need to destroy them? We will have dozens of satellites with nuclear hyper-sonic hlyders. All those missle defence will be useluss. They can use it against Korea more or less effectively.
