Haha, sorry China gets outmatched obviously. We have no money...India is rich.

Strong army on both sides keeps peace because the cost of conflict for both is high irrespective of the offender.
What is especially strange is unlike the arms race of WWI between Germany and UK, it is just Indians racing against its own media.
Again WWI, Europe thought if everyone was allied with everyone, the price of war would be too high.
Military buildup bad period. What is especially strange is unlike the arms race of WWI between Germany and UK, it is just Indians racing against its own media.
Yeah and in fact the media is doing something positive here for once by pressing our sleeping babus to get up and build capabilities. Had we been in Socialist era like 80s and 70s today, we would still be having WW2 weapons with our leaders asleep.Hmm. I don't know if you misspoke here or if you really believe that. By that I mean, the Chinese military build up/ purchases is a concern for the US, Taiwan and many other countries, let alone an honest concern for India. It's well documented and a discussed topic on how China has invested substantially in it's military build up for the last decade. So not sure how you believe its some media propaganda driving the concern in India...
