New 3D Tactical Control Radar (3D TCR) developed by DRDO

3D Tactical Control Radar (3D TCR):: is a Tatra VVL mounted, mobile stand-alone medium range, all weather 3D surveillance Radar for detection and identification of aerial targets. Pertinent data can be collected at Target Data Receiver (TDR), 20 Kms away from the Radar. The radar operates in S-band and is capable of Track-While-Scan (TWS) of airborne targets up to 90kms for fighter aircrafts and 65 Kms for UAVs, subject to radar horizon. The antenna is mechanically rotated in azimuth to provide 360° and 50° elevation coverage upto 10 Kms height.

lol No. But I usually keep track of developments in DRDO/ISRO etc for years through info available on internet since I was in class IX. You know beside jobs various people have different hobbies. Mine is bodybuilding and this.

The 3D Tactical Control Radar is state-of-art medium range Surveillance & Tracking radar designed to effectively play the role of medium range surveillance radar mounted on a mobile platform. The radar operates in S-band and is capable of Track-While-Scan [TWS] of airborne targets up to 90 kms.

· Data remoting of Tracks and plots over LAN to external networks - up to 500m.

· Facility for Remote control and diagnostic testing of the system from a distance of 100 meters.
